Unfortunately for me, two weeks after taking the hormone I was diagnosed with herpes. After my doctor performed the routine blood work, we discovered this was my first outbreak and I would have contracted the virus in the past 2-3 weeks. I have been in a monogamous relationship for four years and am positive that my partner not only didn’t cheat, but is also negative for the herpes virus.
Needless to say it has been a tough couple of weeks. I found myself searching for answers of how this happened? I kept coming back to the HGC injections. They were the only change in my life in the 2-3 week period of time.
I asked my general physician if the injections could have been what had infected me and she answered “no” but she also told me that she had never heard of the HCG diet. I wasn’t satisfied with my doctor’s answer and started doing research of my own. I called the chiropractor who originally prescribed the hormone to find out what it was made from (which I should have done in the beginning) and to my surprise they were no longer prescribing the hormone. She told me they had discontinued its use at their practice and she wasn’t even sure what it was made of. She then gave me the number of the pharmacy where all her patients have the HCG prescriptions filled. I called the pharmacy and they told me the same thing, “Uh, I’m not sure what it is. It comes in powder form and I add water to it.” I couldn’t believe it! I just wanted answers!
After getting nowhere with my investigation, I decided my physician was right and HCG didn’t cause the outbreak. Once I was healed form the first outbreak, I resumed taking the HCG injections. After 3 days I started having symptoms of another outbreak. I got online and began to dig for answers. I found out that HCG is a human hormone that is obtained through humans. It is collected form pregnant women’s urine or from the placenta. I also found out that if HCG is bought from foreign countries it is cheaper but more likely to be contaminated.
My question is – If a women’s urine is collected who has herpes and then is used for HCG injections is it possible for me to contract it? If so, how to I get my HCG tested for contamination?

HCG ‘human chorionic gonadotropin’ is a hormone produced by the placenta in the first trimester of pregnancy, so it is possible to get a disease. I don’t know about herpes, but you CAN get hepatitis to even HIV from its use IF it comes from an unregulated company outside the United States, especially if the hGC is in vials made to be injected.
Some of the online pharmacies which are selling hCG is derived from animals (Cats & Rats) and comes from from China and India, etc. hCG that comes from the US is certified HIV free.
I cant see how a Chiropractor can prescribe these shots, as they can cause blood clots,hyper stimulated ovary’s {Think Kate Gosselin as Yes ,you can have multiples with HGC use.. use the pill & condoms if your sexually active} and twisted ovary’s resulting in infertility.
The FDA has NOT approved of HGC for weight loss, its mainly used for infertility under the supervision of a Doctor. If any Doctor says its has been approved for weight loss, they’re liars.
As True HGC can only be bought with a doctors prescription be very careful.
I think the hGC is bringing on your flair ups, and you may have to quit using it.
